Μία πρώην fashion editor η Nathalie Croquet , θέλησε να πάρει έναν διαφορετικό ρόλο στη βιομηχανία της μόδας, έτσι πόζαρε μπροστά στη φωτογραφική κάμερα και διακωμώδησε τις διαφημίσεις των οίκων υψηλής ραπτικής.

Former fashion magazine editor Nathalie Croquet wanted to take on a different role in the industry, so she stepped in front of the camera to parody high-fashion ads.

Με τη βοήθεια του φωτογράφου Daniel Schweizer, έναν makeup artist και φυσικά στυλίστα, η Croquet ξεκίνησε το project το περασμένο καλοκαίρι στη Γαλλία. Το ονόμασε SPOOF. Απολαύστε την.

Along with photographer Daniel Schweizer, a makeup artist, and a hairdresser, Croquet started her project, called SPOOF, last summer in France.

She drew on 30 years of experience in fashion working with more than 200 photographers.

"I don't really see myself" when looking at the photos, Croquet told BuzzFeed News. "You know, like how you don't recognize your voice in a telephone message."

She targeted French designers like Sonia Rykiel, Givenchy, and Paule Ka.

The images are impressively spot-on.

Croquet isn't trying to communicate one overarching message through her work. Instead, she said she wants each viewer to reach an independent conclusion.

"Women, consumption, retouching, cosmetics, aging, beauty, those all come to mind, but truly those issues are up for debate," she said.

Croquet is now shooting a second round of the copycat images.

"I feel people need a more spiritual approach to life, and good fun," she said. "I'm happy to give them that, even if I'm just making fun of myself."
